CTE Month:
On Wednesday, February 21, 2018 several of our students from the Delaware County Technical High Schools were recognized by the Delaware County Council for their outstanding efforts. They were recognized as a part of the National Career and Technical Education Month (February). Chef John Maier and his culinary students made delicious breakfast pastries for the occasion.

Jon Fritz was honored at the Glen Riddle Rotary Club as their February Student of the Month. Jon is a senior at Interboro High School and is a student at DCTS in the Advertising Design and Commercial Art program. Congratulations Jon!

Culinary Arts & Food Service Management Student Spotlight:
C-CAP (Careers through Culinary Arts) Treat Competition
Martayja Hill an Upper Darby High School student in our Culinary Arts & Food Service Management program at the Marple Education Center took 2nd place for her Coconut Sea Salt Caramel Thumbprint Cookies in the Ignite Treat Contest. This is the second year that Martayja’s treat has placed in this competition. Martayja and her classmates made over 400 of her cookies which were featured at the 2017 Annual Ignite Benefit on October 30th. Congratulations to Martayja, Chef Young and the entire Marple Culinary class!
